About Us

About Us

Willow Adult Care was established in 2019 by two directors with extensive experience in social care, with a vision to develop an adult care provision providing consistently high-quality care throughout Kent, and where person-centred care and support is a key focus of the organisation’s culture and core values.

We provide domiciliary care including live-in care through a highly promoted culture of excellence in service delivery which staff are proud to be associated with and are passionate about, with a strong recognition that high-quality care should form part of who we are and not merely what we do.

Our care packages reflect, with consultation from the clients and their families, their hopes and preferences regarding their care needs.

Both directors are actively involved. One, the Registered Manager, is a qualified social worker with over 12 years post qualification experience in children’s social care with both the local authority and independent sector. In the earlier years of her career, she worked as a carer for adults for over 5 years, predominantly working as a live-in carer and in 2018 as a carer for a domiciliary service.  She has also worked as a Deputy Fostering Manager and Senior Practitioner, responsible for the supervision of several social workers and related strategic and operational aspects of the service. She brings vast service delivery and strategy implementation experience to the service.

The other director, the Nominated Individual, is a Managing Director of a not-for-profit independent fostering agency which has been in operation for over 17 years. He has over 15 years business strategy development, implementation, and oversight, as well as operational experience. He brings service development and compliance transferable experience and skills to the service.

Safeguarding our clients is our ultimate priority. We work diligently to ensure our clients’ lives and well-being are safe in our care. The staff are safely recruited by consistently following our staff recruitment policy and procedures.

Our staff are trained and supported to understand the task and nature of their caring role, their responsibilities, and expectations, and to comply with all regulations. A culture which promotes the importance of training at all levels of the service is encouraged to ensure the message is clear for any staff joining the service.
